This cocktail might look fruity, but it has a hard side!  Rye whiskey paired with hibiscus syrup, lemon juice and bitters is a refreshing drink for warm summer nights.

Course Drinks


  • 2 oz Michter's US*1 Single Barrel Straight Rye
  • 3/4 oz Hibiscus syrup
  • 3/4 oz Lemon juice
  • 5 drops Bolivar bitters
  • 2 drops Orange bitters


  • Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice.
  • Shake until cold and strain over ice.
