This is our take on a popper or armadillo egg. Jalapeños stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bison burger – delicious and so easy!

Bison Berries

Course Appetizer


  • Ground bison
  • Jalapeño peppers cored
  • Pepper jack cheese sticks
  • Montana Outlaw BBQ Beef Rub


  • Core/remove seeds from jalapeños. 
  • Place pepper jack cheese inside jalapeño, wrap with ground bison.
  • Season with a heavy coat of Montana Outlaw BBQ Beef Rub.
  • Place on grill at 250°-300°, until the internal temp reaches 160° (approx 1-1.5 hours).
