Smoked fried chieck wings

This year’s big game may look a little different, but the food is just as iconic and important as year’s past.  We’ve got some amazing things on the menu, including our juicy chicken wings, seasoned with our savory chicken rub, smoked then deep fried to a perfect golden brown, and tossed in a Memphis-style BBQ sauce.

Chicken Rub

This sweet and savory rub has just the right amount of salt and smoke – perfect for seasoning chicken wings.  Available in two sizes: Small 7.1 oz | Large 13.6 oz.  SHOP

Chicken Wings

These chicken wings are simple to make and come out crispy everytime!

Equipment

  • Smoker
  • Grill
  • Cast iron skillet

Ingredients
  

  • Chicken Wings
  • Montana Outlaw BBQ Chicken Rub
  • Olive oil
  • Canola or vegetable oil
  • Memphis-style BBQ sauce (we used Lillie's Hot Smokey Barbeque Sauce)

Instructions
 

  • Toss chicken wings in olive oil and Montana Outlaw BBQ Chicken Rub until evenly coated
  • Smoke wings unitl internal temperature reaches 170°
  • Heat canola or vegetable oil in cast iron skillet
  • Fry wings in batches until skin is golden brown and crispy
  • Toss in memphis-style BBQ sauce and serve with blue cheese, carrots and celery
