- 3 tbsp butter
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup romano cheese
- 1 dash nutmeg
- salt & pepper to taste
- Melt butter in sauce pan.
- Whisk in flour until combined.
- Add heavy cream and whole milk, consistently whisking until thick.
- Whisk in cheese until incorporated.
- Add in nutmeg and salt & pepper to taste.
